• 4 Chairs

After seeing two of these chairs my very happy client asked for me to make it a set of 4.

They looked great with the two different coloured, same pattern William Morris papers decorating the seat and complemented with the blue and green painted tops. Much more interesting than plain white.

  • Chest

This chest was saved by the customer from a relatives estate. No-one wanted it as it was very worn out. The images were faded along the front and sides and the top was the worst. This was a matter of hand painting the images back to their vibrant originality. I had little to go by with the top so I had to make up a lot of the image. The end result was great.

Commissions

Here are some commissioned works I have done.

  • Mother's Dressing Table

This dressing table was from the 50's and was the customers mothers. It did not suit the customers decor and was a plain timber. The mirror was glued on making it impossible for us to transport it to my workshop. So I refurbished it in situ.

The finished piece gave it a whole new life and looked fabulous. It even made the mirror look so much nicer than before.

  • Deck Chairs

Two old deck chairs were in a desperate state. I repaired them, cleaned the canvas, and painted them to bring them back to life. Another happy customer.

  • Hexagon Cabinet

Was very dark timber and quite heavy looking. The customer was happy to have it lightened in side as well as out to make it a lovely display cabinet.

  • Old Car

My client loved this old car tissue paper as did I so it was a pleasure to use it on this chest of drawers. I enhanced it buy using patina paint between the drawers which matched the rust on the car. I then blended the decoupage and was really pleased with the result.

  • Table and Chairs

From yellowing pine to lovely grey and white. Using No Pain Gel Stain on the top and Silk on the legs. Cushions re upholstered too.
